From January 28 to 30, Baku will host events on Transport and Electronic Advanced Data for countries in the Europe and CIS regions, organized jointly by the Universal Postal Union and "Azərpoçt" LLC, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA-Economics.
The events, held with the commitment to promote innovations in Azerbaijan's postal ecosystem, will cover a postal transport seminar and a training on Electronic Advanced Data.
The purpose of the events is to discuss the challenges and opportunities in modern postal systems, share knowledge on Electronic Advanced Data and transport logistics, and discuss the organization of postal work related to postal security functions by bringing together postal operators from Europe and the CIS.
During the training on Electronic Advanced Data, sessions will be held on strategic approaches to e-commerce, the use and integration of tools for customs declarations and international postal systems, and bilateral meetings will be held based on the specific needs of postal operators from the participating countries.
At the same time, important issues such as regional and national transport indicators, IT tools, the transition to paperless transportation, and the creation of regional transport hubs will be discussed in the regional transport seminar.
One of the key points of the seminar is a panel discussion that promotes dialogue among postal operators. Here, solutions to challenges related to postal consolidation and the creation of regional centers will be explored.
The events aim to provide postal organizations with the necessary tools and knowledge to increase operational efficiency, as well as to promote cooperation among postal operators in the region.
