Investment forum with participation of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan held in Ankara -UPDATED

A Türkiye-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Business Forum was held in Ankara with the support of Türkiye’s Ministry of Trade, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy, and Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade, as well as the joint organization of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan – AZPROMO, and Uzbekistan’s Investment Promotion Agency, APA-Economics reports.

The event brought together around 200 entrepreneurs from all three countries, representing sectors such as construction, tobacco production, the food industry, pharmaceuticals, building materials, tourism, textiles, industry, logistics, and more.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, Türkiye's Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, and Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, participated in the business forum.

The event continued with B2B meetings.

An investment forum with the participation of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Uzbekistan was held in Ankara, Turkish Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat said this at the opening ceremony of the 2nd trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade/Economy, and Transport from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan in Ankara, APA's Türkiye correspondent reports.

He noted that the forum was attended by representatives of the private sectors of all three countries. The minister added that the three countries, with a combined population of 132 million, are of great importance to the regional and global economies, with a combined gross domestic product of nearly $1.5 trillion.
