Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has expressed support for the ceasefire agreement in Gaza reached between the Palestinian Hamas movement and Israel, and hopes these arrangements will benefit the region, Olaylar informs.
"We welcome the ceasefire agreement reached between Hamas and Israel. We hope it will benefit our region and all humanity, especially our Palestinian brothers, and pave the way for lasting peace and stability," the Turkish leader wrote on X.
Türkiye, as Erdogan pointed out, "has not left their Palestinian brothers for a second in their struggle against oppression and oppressors."
"We will continue to support the people of Gaza in the same way, mobilizing all our capabilities and resources to heal their wounds and help them get back on their feet," the Turkish leader added.
