The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, received a delegation led by the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Rowaili, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the ministry.
The Defense Minister welcomed the guests and expressed his satisfaction with seeing them in Azerbaijan.
Noting that relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are built on friendship and brotherhood, the Minister said that the country's leadership attaches special importance to the development of these relations and constantly keeps them in the spotlight.
