The Investigative Committee has put rapper Alisher Morgenstern (recognized in Russia as a foreign agent - ED) on the wanted list as part of the preliminary investigation in a criminal case on violation of the rules of foreign agent activity, APA reports citing Izvestiya.
"As part of the preliminary investigation in the criminal case <...> the investigator made a decision to declare the figure in the federal and interstate wanted list," the agency interlocutor commented. It is specified that the investigation of the criminal case against Morgenstern, accused of committing a crime under part 2 of article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the order of activity of a foreign agent -ED), continues.
At the same time, according to the artist's lawyer Sergei Zhorin, the investigation had no grounds to search for his client.
"My client is not hiding from the investigation, his whereabouts are known to the investigator: Alisher is currently undergoing treatment, which he himself has previously publicly stated", - commented the human rights activist.
