Reports have been circulating on social media, falsely attributed to Aykhan Hajizada, Head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, regarding an alleged crash involving an AZAL passenger plane, Aykhan Hajizada told APA.
He confirmed that these claims are fake.
It should be noted that the fabricated report falsely claimed that preliminary investigations into the incident suggested the aircraft collided with a flock of birds. Additionally, it falsely stated that Azerbaijan apologized to Russia for spreading misinformation.
