As of December 31, 2024, assets of the State Oil Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) increased by 7.1% compared to the beginning of 2024 (USD 56,069.7 million) to amount to USD 60,031.4 million, SOFAZ said, APA-Economics reports.
According to the report, SOFAZ's budget revenues during January-December 2024 amounted to AZN 18,039.0 million, and budget expenditures amounted to AZN 12,896.4 million.
During January-December 2024, SOFAZ's revenues from the implementation of oil and gas agreements amounted to AZN 12,243.7 million, including AZN 11,461.4 million from the sale of profit oil and gas, bonus payments amounted to AZN 778.2 million, transit revenues amounted to AZN 0.5 million, and acreage payments amounted to AZN 3.6 million.
The investment income from the management of the Fund's assets amounted to 5,795.3 million manat, and the return on the investment portfolio was 6%.
