"Improving the level of relations between France and Azerbaijan is in the interest of both nations," Farid Shafiyev, Chairman of the Board of the Center for Analysis of International Relations, said during the International Conference titled "France and the Armenia-Azerbaijan Conflict", APA reports.
He spoke about the great respect for French culture and its language in Azerbaijan: "There are guests here whose speeches will help us to better understand the state of relations between France and Azerbaijan. In Azerbaijan, there is great respect for French culture and its language. Improving relations between the two countries and maintaining these relations are in the interest of the people. We are not fighting against France’s history or its culture."
