The history of relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Georgia dates back centuries, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this at a joint press conference with Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, APA reports.
The minister said that during the years of independence, the history of our relations is approaching 35 years: “There have been very difficult periods in history, there have been very serious challenges for our statehood. The point that characterizes Azerbaijani-Georgian relations is that we have always had friendly, friendly, neighborly relations. Our relations are based on non-interference in each other's internal affairs and international law. Today, the relations between our states are at the highest level.
