The Azerbaijan Standardization Institute (AZSTAND), subordinate to the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, has adopted the state standards AZS ISO 45003:2024 “Occupational health and safety management - Psychological health and safety at work - Guidelines for managing psychosocial risks” and AZS ISO 45004:2024 “Occupational health and safety management - Guidelines for performance evaluation”, AZSTAND told APA-Economics.
The said state standards cover instructions and procedures for monitoring, measurement and analysis processes, including the development of relevant indicators when assessing occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) performance. It will also enable organizations to minimize or prevent occupational accidents and occupational diseases.
It should be noted that the state standards in question were discussed in the Technical Committee on Standardization in the "Labor Field" (AZSTAND/TK 21) and were adopted by the Institute and included in the State Standardization Fund of Normative Documents.
